Monarch Classroom Sets with Live Monarch Eggs/Caterpillars

Lifestrands offers a classroom pack that includes everything, except milkweed. Milkweed is easily found growing wild in most areas of the country and can be incorporated in school yard butterfly gardens as well. The Classroom Monarch Habitat Pack includes: The Great Monarch Investigation Curriculum Guide, 30 My Monarch Investigation journals, 50 monarch eggs, 6 observation tanks with lids, 12 hand lenses and 12 flower tubes for keeping your cut milkweed fresh.

For subsequent years, or for classrooms already supplied with all the equipment they need, refill packs of My Monarch Investigation journals with eggs or My Monarch Investigation journals with caterpillars are available.

Orders of Classroom Sets with Live Monarchs are sent with a livestock coupon to be returned to Lifestrands 30 days before you need your monarch eggs/caterpillars to arrive. We can deliver your eggs/ caterpillars on a day (Tuesday through Friday) that is convenient to you. Please be aware that livestock often arrives requiring fresh milkweed and immediate attention. To maximize viablilty, plan 1-2 hours of set up time on the delivery date.

Instructions for caring for your monarchs will be included. A 30-50% mortality rate is considered normal for monarch eggs and we send ample extra stock to meet your needs, but you will have to separate, feed and care for them to guarantee that they will survive. We guarantee that they will arrive in good condition. We will replace shipments that do not arrive in good condition.

Livestock is shipped to arrive on Tuesday through Friday to allow for overnight delivery.
